I keep having to uninstall and re-install metamask to get it to work. try the following link nextime first:

found above 2 links to my meta mask dashboard. I have 39.62 in there now. somehow it went down... probably because the value of etheruem is down. We will see if it goes back up.

To quickly check your ethereum balance without having to sign into meta mask... chatgpt told me to go to the above link and just paste my wallet adress accociated with my balance into the search bar, that will bring up any of your past transaction as well as any un-authorized transactions. and it will tell you your balance

 How to sign into metamask and get old account up and running and reconnected:

just keep adding new accoounts once you are signed into metamask and the old accounts will automatically be reconnected in the order they were added in the past.
To make them show up on opensea as well you have to press the sing in button on opensea and wait for the metamask add on window to appear with al the 'connect wallet' stuff.
Everytime I added a new account 'in order to recover my old accounts' there was a pop up that said this account was not connected to opensea and it gave me an option to click on to connect the newly added account.
